Example of the home page from this template . It has been simplified to just include the essentials for a Town or Parish council.
Home page simplified

This is an example of starting with our templated homepage and then simplifying it by removing widgets (also called modules) from the page.

In this example we have left in just the  most basic things a Town or Parish may want on their home page.

Private Content Management Made Simple

We've long supported a secure media folder—a dedicated space where Councillors can exchange sensitive documents not yet ready for public release or restricted due to commercial confidentiality.

Now, we've expanded this capability: entire pages, including their content, can be made private. This is ideal for internal teams, and equally valuable for councils wishing to share information exclusively with subscribers.

Setting it up is straightforward:

  • When creating a page, simply specify which profile is authorised to view it.
  • When a user subscribes, assign their profile to that page.

This ensures seamless control over who sees what—without compromising ease of use.

Our Council Website Template

Simplify Community Engagement

Usually, whoever is using the template would add some text to explain what they do and why they do it. With our solution you can add a "What You See Is What You Get"  paragraph widget anywhere on a page to do just that.
